Modular Gardener aims to discover the possibility of human-to-plant communication based on digital experience. To this end, we have established a system that emphasizes 'connectivity' and 'modularity'. It's linked to mobile and allows users to look after and take care of plants anytime, anywhere.
The internal structure of Modular Gardener is optimized for module system. Each component helps to connect to another device. It also allows remote care of plants, such as sending data to users or controlling watering from mobile devices.
The main concept of Modular Gardener is 'Block module'. This means that devices can be connected horizontally or vertically. In addition, the combination method allows customization of various shapes that users want. These systems allow users to efficiently manage their products while still using them as decorative elements.
XR Commerce for Modular Gardener is a virtual website that sells my graduation project, Modular Gardener. Due to Pandemic, experience in offline stores has become difficult. To solve this problem, I wanted to build a realistic UX by transferring our experience in offline stores to digital. So I developed this application based on Three.js and WebXR.
